There's so many thouhts, memories, behind these notes. So many tears, so many smiles, so much time stolen. So much pain, so much loneliness, so much joy. The hugs, the kisses, the farewells. Wait, patience, commitment. Broken laughs, overwhelming under-the-table touches, dissapointment. Faith, desperation, surrender.
These songs have been the soundtrack for an incredible number of lifes, including mine. Let The Beatles walk with you, cause whenever I feel something, I find the right track, and though a song can be neither solution nor medicine, lyrics can make you feel comprehended. Whatever you feel, it's been felt before, and when no one understands you, the music does.
By the way, these retro sigles are brilliant, a piece of art itself worth watching. If you don't like the songs (bad for you), you can always turn off the sound, because we have inherited this style, even nowadays, this pictures are the remains of a decade of dreams, happiness and after-war culture of welfare, and youth.
Creo que soy capaz de asociar cada una de estas canciones a un momento de mi vida. En mi caso, no son sólo la banda sonora, son también el telón de fondo de buena parte de mi pasado. Adoro "I´m 64". El otro día le puse a mi hijo "Here comes the sun". La escuchó un montón de veces seguidas... y no me extraña. A mí todavía sigue emocionándome. Es encantadora.
